Many prenatals on the market are made with cheap inactive forms of vitamins that aren't optimally utilized by one's body. They are also filled with fillers, binders, and non-ideal flow agents. These speed up the encapsulation process, bringing down cost, but result in a lower quality end product. Also, many don't have high enough amounts of the vitamins to be therapeutic. *
